What is wrong with you lot?

She committed a crime. She paid a fine in keeping with the general tariffs for what was a minor offence, a first offence and compared to her income.

    Get over it.

Now, if you wanted to complain that she should be dragged outside screaming in flames for what the Labour party have done to the country, then you might have a point. But that is sod all to do with the driving offence.

But you can't see wee want balanced and fair judiciary UNLESS we happen to disagree with the persons politics.

Is that not a pre-requisite for being an MP?

Did she not leave the scene of the accident, saying something like "You know where to find me?"

If so, she should be locked up. None of us would get away with that.

If not, she should still be locked up as she's a cnut.

BBC reports that she already has two convictions for traffic offences (both for speeding)
The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars.

Really? AH well in that case lets hang her. And stick her head on a pole. I mean, it's not like anybody else gets 4 chances at speeding before they lose their license.

Oh, actually, they do. Silly me.*

*But it does serve me right for not reading the story properly.

Careless driving can be punished with a fine of up to £5,000, a licence endorsement of up to nine points and a driving ban

Wonder if she was forced to give a DNA sample? Might just submit an FOI request this weekend.

Well I have been done for Driving without due care when I was a student, bumped a parked car on the ring road.

Got fined £275 with £250 costs in 1992 with 5 points.

So I'd say she got off lightly.

Why is this worthy of comment, she's a woman, everyone knows women can't drive.
