    Worst case scenario

Suppose Brown is forced from office for being utterly useless. Mandleson takes over, and declares a state of emergency, setting himself up as an effective dictator with no intention of calling an election. Her Majesty is understandably unhappy with this, and calls upon her Armed Forces to remedy the situation - effectively removing the Armed Forces from the governments control and back into hers. My question is this:

    Is my pension fucked?

Being in the army is like being in the Boy Scouts, except that the Boy Scouts have adult supervision.

It's worth asking. With the outrage bus racking up the mileage like the Stig is driving it, and people calling for coups and all sorts, it's worth hypothetically knowing if you're seeing yourself off by being involved!

It's the best Outrage Bus...in the WORLD! :D

Anyway, the attempt to dump Brown seems to be running out of steam already. No need for the Princess of Darkness to use the Norsefire Scenario just yet...

Worst case scenario: Harriet Harperson gets her hands on the reigns of power for the next five months if Brown storms off in a strop or "accidentally" falls down the stairs. After all, she is Deputy Leader of the Labour party. Just think of the damage she can cause in five minutes, never mind five months.
