You know why it's so cold and snowy?
Because there is some nonsense Trojan horse climate summit going on in Mexico that some of the participants are now openly saying that it has nothing to do with the environment and all about international wealth distribution, i.e. socialism.
It's called the Gore effect...All shall kneel before the Gloryhole of the Old Gods and receive their blessings

The thing they don't seem to grasp, is that the planet has survived temperature fluctuations for millions of years. It's only MAN that might die out a bit sooner from possibly speeding up a cycle, and would that be a serious loss?
As for wealth distribution, that doesn't surprise me. Whether it was Wogan about two years ago saying the whole thing was just another way to take tax from us, to the Pakistani chap I heard interviewed saying all Pakistanis should have three cars 'like the Americans', it was never going to be about the climate!

Well the councils and gubmint are going to start running out of excuses for not having spent tax-payers money on winter hardware, instead of pissing it away on the welfare state. After all, this is apparently the last freak winter since...... um..... last year..... and .. er ... maybe the one before that as well...

Al Gore, the charlatan with the huge energy guzzling house? Inconvenient truth compared to the G Bush ranch.

I didn't say it was your fucking fault, I said I was blaming you.

No snow as yet here in Hong Kong - temperature at 9.00 p.m. is 21.6 C.
It may drop to 0C in Jan or Feb, and there is occasionally frost on Tai Mo Shan, the tallest hill. Locals cause traffic jams to go up and see it. There have been reliable reports of people tearing frost-covered branches off trees and bringing them back on top of their cars to show friends. The are baffled when they get home and their plundered branches are frost-free.
I have heard reports that it did snow in the New Territories in the 1970's, but have been unable to confirm it.
I fucked your country and became very rich. What are you going to do about it?

I remember it dropping down to below 0'c in Hong Kong in the 80s. IIRC it was responsible for the deaths of a lot of homeless folk.
Just been out for a walk, -6'C currently, a foot of snow under foot, the huskies are loving it!It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up,
As true today as in 1320.

According to the traffic reports, it is the East of London that is having all the fun at the moment.

Lovely down in Kent, snowed all day, still snowing now (19:30),it's great,my garden looks as good as everyone else's.
The only problem is all the morons driving cars, they're going fast when they should be going slow, and slow where they can speed up,and as for the knobbers in their 4x4's,well.
