Thanks :D but sadly, I must point out that it was spike7451 who started this thread. I will say though, when Frank recovers he would be the first Penguin I will have willingly bought a beer for :D We rib each other mercilessly over capbadge loyalty, but when the chips are down...

I blame all these butch Tiger avatars you hats all seem to have, well, that and the fact that I'm a bit dim... realised too late. But again, thanks for all the support. I have it on good authority that Frank is now very aware of the support on here and Facebook he's received. Keep it going folks!

What job/trade?

Bit of advice if your only doing it for a job short term make sure you get something out of it try and get into a techie trade that way when you do come out you will have something worthwhile to offer, forces technical training is excellent , i wouldnt have liked to have come out into the harsh real world with only infantry skills to offer,.... i believe aldi are looking for security guards sir

Lets not forget as well that all cap badges have been putting money into the box behind the Traf, even the WG lads who are just back from Afghan.
Anyhow, I'm out of here for a few days, off to Portugal to take the English disease to Lisbon.
Hopefully when I get back he's perked up even more.

Frank's definitely on the mend, but still not out of the woods yet. He's off the ventilator, but has a load of tubes running out of him. He's conscious, still not able to speak, but is responding. I'm going up to see Lorraine tomorrow (she's running the poppy appeal for Aldershot, volunteesr needed!), so more info then.
