How many people who are 'outraged' are not in the BNP?

I am not btw, but I think all this PC sh1t is becomeing a bit of a joke now. Thought Police will be kicking in all our doors for thought wave scanning soon...

Anyone who considers the Union flag offensive should move to another country.

Is this the same Met that flew a rainbow flag instead of the Union Jack? I know Avon and Somerset have now make their non muslim female coopers wear ahead scarf when dealing with muslims which is odd as the police have taken to allowing minorities to dictate the faith of any plod responding to their shouts.

Amazing isn't it, our flag is offensive but not our passports or generous welfare system.

I have not seen any of the "offensive" remarks, but do agree with the ban. It's good that the police support the appeal but what about other good causes they support? Would the average copper end up looking like the proverbial boy scout, with a sleeve (lapel) full of badges? Look at some of the comments on the "Headscarves in Uniform" thread. Can't have it both ways.

The fatuous clowns 'running' our police cannot understand why a large swathe of the population have lost faith and trust in the police.

Well done Bliar, you unctuous sh*t, for politicising the police. This perfidious action will in time come to haunt you and hopefully lead to your incarceration.

Where can I purchase these badges? and well done to the remaining passionate coppers who where these badges.

It isn't the ban that bugs me, it is the reason given for the ban.

"No badges, issued uniform only":-No problem

"No badges, the Union flag is offensive".:-Get stuffed.

its only a matter of time before they get a request to have the Union flag removed from soldiers uniforms before Homecoming parades
