    Must be a stunt, or the guy is a complete knob who simply didn't make his camping trip intentions known.

    As far as I recall, even the most remote part of the Blue Mountains is less than 3 clicks from a frequently-used road or track. Any bloke who doesn't have two broken legs should have been able to extract within a day or so.

    Yep, as the story unfolds it sounds even more a load of b*llocks.
    Just another scam to earn money IMHO.
    Think he's done it to earn enough money to keep his mum fed with pies. Shares in Ginsters will go through the roof soon.

    It would need to be a bit more spectacular than twelve days living in the equivalent of the Lake District to earn that much money. I reckon at best there's enough for 6 months supply of Wispa bars for the grotesque two-legged pig.
