Possibly - and if she wanted to make a point she by snubbing the event she certainly hasn't been starved of the oxygen of publicity for it.

What fact is that?

I assume you are pointing out that the NE GDP per capita is the lowest in England, and only just ahead of Wales.

Of course ship building and Coal mine closure haven't really helped in these areas.

So it is ok for the ENGLISH to call the Welsh, Irish and Scots names but they are not allowed to have BANTER back.

Actually I was refering to the RFA where NE and NI get more per head than Scotland, whereas London and SE get lowest even though they produce more for the nation (that is the UK) than anyone else.

Anyway getting of subject and I apologise for that, she, the MSP is a tw@ of the highest order and I would not piss on her (or any politico) if she was on fire

I just regard the constant misspelling or mispronounciation of my Nations name a bit lame and irritating.

I refer to the above as Taffs, Paddies or Jocks. But don't refer to their countries as Taffland, Paddyland or Jockland. Or anyother term.
