We currently can't get (South Cumbria) ITV1, 2 or 3 or any of the C4 channels. five is dodgy too.

You should still be able to watch BBC 1& 2, ITV and CH4 via analogue.

Thats where mine points towards, winters hill. It works fine in the day and evening then come midnight channels 1-10 dissapear including all the BBC's and Itv's. If I switch to normal tele, bbc1 & 2 are there aswell as itv1 channel 4 and five, but on Freeview they dissapear. When I wake up in the morning there all back after re-installing the channels.

My Freeview box goes nuts every time someone drives a small car past my place, Nissan Micras, Ford Ka's etc. Any idea why?

I am geting fed up with Freeview as well and I live in the south east. I think we have been sold a pup by the powers that be. Despite having a new antenna, new proper digital cabling and a much better Freeview box than I previously had the picture still breaks up for hours on end on some channels. You olnly have to get heavy rain or snow and it all goes tits up. :(

I get occasional interference from gadgets in the house. For example the landlord's poxy dishwasher seems to cause interference when it moves between stages of the cycle, and his stupid plumbed-in fridge which clanks and creaks making ice also causes problems, particularly on Channel 5.

Maybe your in-home gadgets aren't helping?

Re cars, etc., I was told that 'when we all move to full digital coverage there will be more bandwidth and they won't interfere with the digital signal.' Personally I'll believe it when I see it.
And this you can see is the bolt. The purpose of this
Is to open the breech, as you see. We can slide it
Rapidly backwards and forwards: we call this
Easing the spring. And rapidly backwards and forwards
The early bees are assaulting and fumbling the flowers:
They call it easing the Spring.
They call it easing the Spring: it is perfectly easy
If you have any strength in your thumb: like the bolt,
And the breech, and the cocking-piece, and the point of balance,
Which in our case we have not got; and the almond-blossom
Silent in all of the gardens and the bees going backwards and forwards,
For today we have naming of parts.

I bought a cheap digi box from Sainsburys, plugged it in and have no probs. Mind, the tv I have has built in Freeview, but still runs off a communal aerial and I live in the South East, London.
