I'm amazed the pillock hasn't solved all the world's peacekeeping problems, seeing as how he's got all the rest of the evil-doers by the short [geddit?] 'n curlies! The blue beret bit would go nicely with the baby-sh1t brown skirt and accoutrements.

That would be about right. a picture of shortt appears in a film made up of stolen spetznatz pictures stuck together for a bloody airsoft promotion.

I may be slower than speed of one gazelle with an injured leg, but did Mr Shortt have an article in one of the magazines in either this sundays Mail on Sunday or Sunday Express?

Croydon SAS Colonel & decoratated hero to visit Melbourne
-------------------
FAO Mr Stuart Gill, Consul General,
Sir,
Melbourne will soon be visited by Colonel James Shortt, late of the Royal Galloglas Guard. A highly decorated SAS Soldier from Croydon who is shy of publicity. If the Defence Attache or your staff combined with our Australian Military colleagues could arrange an informal reception it would be appreciated.
Yours aye
K

Re: Shortt Thread: Fun & Frivolity Here
Ah Kill... that's a charming thought! As you say he is such a shy retiring chap I'm sure he'd be ever so chuffed to have an official reception to honour his very many (cough) achievements!
"So Mr Shortt... tell us a little about yourself..." :DUnquestionably, it was going to be highly dangerous... And, what the hell, I figured, nobody lives forever!

FAO Mr Stuart Gill, Consul General
Sir,
I believe you are being misled. James Shortt is a fraud and a liar.
He never underwent any military basic training, infact his whole
military career consists of a few weeks in the reserve army before he
was told his services were no longer required. I knew him personally
for 7 years. I myself served in the Parachute Regiment.
I am sir, your obediant servant
