Corps Soldier Killed In Afghanistan
http://news.sky.com/skynews/article/...319391,00.html
A female British soldier and three male colleagues have been killed in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed.
Next of kin have been informedNext of kin have been informed.
The troops were taking part in an operation east of Lashkar Gah headquarters when their vehicle was hit by an explosion yesterday afternoon.
Three were killed in the blast and two others were evacuated by medics to Camp Bastion, where one died.
The injured soldiers is in a stable condition.
An MoD spokesman said: "It is with deep regret that MoD must confirm the deaths of one Intelligence Corps soldier and three other British soldiers in Afghanistan.""You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it."

Another extremly sad day for our Corps. Our thoughts are with friends and family. Another unwelcome reminder of the dangerous world we operate in today. RIP.

http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage...cle1311149.eceWe should remember the tremendous contribution of the Queen Mother to the war effort:
As the BBC pointed out, she 'bravely remained in London beside her husband' during the war.
This contrasts sharply with the actions of my grandfather who, on the declaration of war immediately left his wife and children and pissed off, first to France, then North Africa, Italy, France (again) and finally Germany.
The shame will always be with us.

RIP
Deepest condolencies to the family and freinds of all the fatalities.
Another sad loss for the Corps Family. No matter how poweful one's armies, in order to enter a country one needs the goodwill of the inhabitants.
