Who - dont know anyone
What - the 'F' are all these names at Chicksands
Why - indeed why

Re: Rose and Laurel
Always found the mag boring. About as exciting as getting smacked in the face with a wet kipper.

Re: Rose and Laurel
My recruiter gave me a copy of the Rose and Laurel, I thought it was an interesting read (although I haven’t read even half of it yet)
Seemed very professionally done to be honest.

Re: Rose and Laurel
Only know 2 people in the main body of the mag - the Director (knew him when he was a Lt!!) and an LE Maj whom I knew when he was a Lcpl!! Knew several in the Obituries though - very sad and very boring think I'll stop getting it!Is it my imagination but are the female members of the Corps considerably better looking now than in the '70/80/90's ? Or is it just my age?

Don't finish reading it, when you do your recruiter will reappear and kill you.

My bold - Those tunes were covered by a few folks. I prefer the Paddy Roberts versions, those, and his 'Ballad of Bethnal Green' - " She was tall and dumb and she lived with her mum on the fringe of Bethnal Green" :D
