Of course we haven't even touched on the environmental impact of pulling up a live tree and importing a tree into a foreign country...

ah..can't do that. Unless it has been inspected by the forestry commision. Then of course, it may still contravene importation regulations of the receiving country. Shipping wood is not as simple as it used to be
