    I was there as a DI in around late '67. One of mt recruits went on to be Colonel Commandant of Greenjackets.

    That was me I think, as long as they survived the move, a bit morbid but nice to know that the lads were commemorated!

    Yep thats him, remembered the name as soon as i see it.

    My section commander was Cpl Mick Dalton. (not in this pic).

    When i googled his name it turns out that he has recently passed away.

    +1 on that, the fittest Plt Sgt i've come across.

    Trying to keep up with him on tabs, ICFT etc thought i joined the paras by mistake.

    Also at depot he had a Doberman dog called" Kohima ". As i was in 1 section on the ground floor of long block and my bed was the first one inside the door he used to stick his head around the corner at yell at me to go and pick up his dogs shit off the square.
