You go to Catterick and enjoy yourself. The RRS instructors will treat you exactly the same as the other recruits. I can't answer for the other recruits.
As Zag42 said, there has always been a mix of nationalities in the Army.
Just a small point about which battalion you want. Initially you may not get the battalion that you want. It may happen that you will be fed into the battalion that is most understrength. However, there is the opportunity to move between battalions, depending upon need.

You'll always be a mash cnut etc but it's just banter. Don't know about the others but 4SCOTS is full of Fijians, English etc. Nobody gives a shit.

You'll get the pissed ripped for any reason, wrong part of the UK, wrong part of Scotland, wrong part of a city, wrong street, support the wrong football team, ginger hair, etc.
Just as a matter of interest, why join RRS?It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom -- for that alone, which no honest man gives up,
As true today as in 1320.

I was Gordons/Highlanders (who are now 4 scots) and i am from London. In my section I had a lad from Wigan, a lad from Lowestoft and myself. The rest were Aberdeenshire born and bred.
Did I get the piss taken out of me..of course. Did the rest of the lads, whether Scottish or not? Of course. We had a glaswegian who perhaps got more stick than any of us English lot. Any Shetlanders seemed to get it too.
As long as you knuckle down, can prove you can do the job, don't try and tell the Scots anything about Scottish History (They seem to make most of it up and some even believe that the film Brave Heart was a documentry!) then you will be fine!
As mentioned, you will come across plenty of non Scots and even non British members. Be proud of the History, be proud to wear the Tartan and be proud to be a hard drinking hard working "Jock".

I've worked with jocks before, they are a good bunch, love taking the pi$$ and drinking.
Depends where abouts in the motherland (England) you are from eg, if you are from down south you'll probably get your heed kicked in, if you're from up north and can steal a car without breaking sweat you'll fit in fine.
If someone with a Scottish accent says something to you just reply "Fcuk off you thick NED ba$tard, we own you!!"

not at all, i'm english, recruited in Scotland, and was actually persuaded to join the Scottish regiments. Obviously there will be banter, but you get that in every single branch, there will always be something to use as ammunition.
The recruiters, guys at pre selection, and at insight week, all said there are plenty of english in the Scots btns and all get on fine.On fames eternal camping ground their silent tents are spread,
And glory guards with solemn, round the bivouac of the dead.
