    Daz Sweatman

For any ex Light Infantry types or Rifles I have some very sad news.

Daz Sweatman, WO1 and ex 2cd Battalion the Light Infantry very sadly lost his fight with cancer on new years eve at 23:58hrs.

Daz was one of lifes good guys and will be sorely missed by all those who knew him.
He was incredibly fit and a legend within the regimental boxing community. There is a feeling of total shock that he has passed away, he was just 42 years old.

For those of you that knew him Daz's dying wish was that his Thai partner and daughter should be looked after once he passed away.
If you would like to donate to ensure their lives are more comfortable in Thailand please contact Lee Dunn with your donation, cheques made payable to Lee Dunn the donation can be made at the funeral or sent to Lee Dunn at 6 Holnicote Close, Ingleby Barwick, Stockton on Tees, TS17 0NJ.

There is a facebook site set up in his name if you care to visit,

    Re: Daz Sweatman

He was my training screw in Winchester in 91.

He was without a doubt a man that I looked up too and tried my hardest to emulate.

    Stand easy!
