Foot injury
About 3 months ago I started pounding the pavements a bit more than usual in preparation for CFT/PFT. During the course of which I gave myself a bit of a foot injury.
I didn’t think too much of it at the time as it was just a very mild pain so I just ignored it and carried on jogging.
I passed my CFT without any issues at the start of May. Since then I haven’t been doing any running in the hopes that the rest would allow whatever I’ve done to my feet to heal.
I’m still feeling pain in my feet, which after almost a month of rest is starting to concern me.
The pain is in the bridge of both feet, towards the heel.
I can best describe it as feeling like needles being poked into me when I’m walking.
Oddly it feels as if it’s getting worse.
Obviously rest on it’s own isn’t helping so can anyone recommend any exercises or vitamins that may help?
Thanks

Re: Foot injury
Is it worse first thing in the morning?
(not a bone question btw)
(pun intended)

Re: Foot injury
Yes it is, more noticeably on a weekend when I crawl out of bed and have the time to sit down with a cup of tea.

Re: Foot injury
Try this. More pain in the morning is a common symptom.

Re: Foot injury
Thanks for that, it sounds like it could well be my problem.
