I second what markymoon said, I live in Worcester Park and thats a great Nepalese restaurant (The Munal) run by ex-ghurkas. I believe theres also one in Putney owned by the same people. the manager told me that all the Nepalese restaurants in britain are run by ex-ghurkhas.

There's a chain of Nepalese restaurants in the West London area called Monty's (it is in fact two chains now as the family had a falling out) but the owners were not Gurkhas. I live in Putney but don't know of a Gurkha/ Nepali restaurant in its environs but I wish there were.

And on the Fulham Road, one in Ealing (which I think was the first) and one on the road from Ealing to Northfields. They all have the same lettering outside but they are different companies. I haven't eaten in the one in Kingston - is it any good?

Not all Nepalese restaurants in Uk are run by ex-Gurkhas...may I direct you to Yak-Yeti-Yak in Bath? Top food and top location. Good people too, despite their not being ex-Gurkhas!!

Come and try it - they supported our campaign for Pun VC! So enjoy the pork curry...mmmmmm!

There's Great Nepalese on Eversholt St, NW1 (between Euston and Mornington Crescent) which I keep meaning to go to.

Apparently Michael Palin eats there frequently. I don't know if that's a good thing.
