The Australians withdrew their exchange officer a couple of yrs ago (cost savings). Of course they also did that in the 1960s and it lasted only a few years, although on that occasion the incumbent had recommended it because it had no value.

The US instructor certainly used to be an exchange posting, not sure about these days.
