Anyone who has served or is currently serving got any advice to give to 'newbies' or potential infantry soldiers? please shed the light
work hard, keep your head down dont get noticed...
yeah turn around and run like fuck before you are trapped
Embrace the knowledge, accept the cold, and enjoy your training. It's putting up with the worst, that makes infantry soldiers the best.
As above be prepared to be cold, wet and hungry! and don't salute the RSM and call a Cpl or Sgt "SIR"!
Nil Desperandum Iligitimi....Dont let the barstards grind you down Always smile...they will think you are either a physco and will leave u alone or that your mind has gone and you are about to go 'physco'....either way they will piss of and annoy someone else....dont do this in pubs though, unless its at girls or a gaye bar...lol
Dont do it, its not all you think, and definatly dont join the army if you think it will make you an awesome solider, it dosent. join the marines if you want real infantiering!!!!!!!!! (I am army so i would know)
