Bit of help
Lads,
Ive got a phillips 200WS8 20" monitor, and Ive just bought a DVI cable to replace the analog.
My problem is that the DVI cable doesnt fit, and there appears to be a cap over the horizontal part of the cable input (on the monitor)
Ive had a bit of a poke around with a small screwdriver but I'd rather not damage the monitor.
Are the monitors supposed to have this cap? And can it be removed easily?
The instructions made no mention and I can't google the answer.
Cheers in advance,
KakashiAnd now I go. Not to do your bidding... But to demonstrate my might

Re: Bit of help
There is more than one type of DVI cable: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface
MSR‘Good God!’ he laughed, and slowly filled his pipe,
Wondering ‘why he always talked such tripe’.

Thanks MSR I had a look, its a DVI-I Dual Link.
Do you think I'll be right to assume its a cap and try and pop it off?And now I go. Not to do your bidding... But to demonstrate my might

Re: Bit of help
Fuk it, bash it with a hammer. If damaged... claim!
If no plan survives first contact etc...
Why have I just built a model and wrote a set of orders at 3 in the bloody morning?
