It's gone to the charity shop. Battlefield 3 was good while it lasted and was a right little gem at the start , decent servers and a joy to play. Personally it's lost it's shine. Now DICE/EA went greedy, pulled their servers and we're left to private admins on games riddled with cheats. I love this game, but not that much that I'll be playing and paying. The rest of you, onwards and upwards and enjoy

Hmm not sure about this. I tend to shy away from games that require to fork out to buy the game then keep on paying afterwards. If this becomes required to play the game then it will prob be ended for me.

If it goes premium, I probably will bin it. In my current situation, I can't keep, chucking money at a game as well as paying for the game itself and Xbox membershio.

Odds on the "premium" offering items that are far superior and overpowered compared to the regular weapons in an effort to make everyone buy it. See what happens when EA get involved, the game is secondary to seeing how much money they can get out of people who have already bought the game.

If it goes that way where effectively we are paying out more per month than we already do then sod it the Xbox can go.
I know nothing in life is free but jesus how much money is enough ??

I think I will probably buy the first DLC see what that is like then decide about the rest of them.

BF3 is going the way of the CoD cash-cow. And that pisses me off. The server 'up'date had BF resigned to the shelf for a while and if it goes to a 'premium' thing, it'll more than likely be getting ditched. Shame, as it was probably one of the best games ever to have came out before it was 'fixed'.
Oh well, back to drinking heavily to fill the void.

I personally was looking forward to the second DLC 'Armoured Kill' as a shedload of new vehicles are due to be introduced.
