I've binned the game. All my money was earned in flower running and I held the cash in points. Logged on to find my daily income slashed and my cash 'stocks' cut by about a quarter. I was still saving for my first PI and with that blow, it would have taken many more months. I took my 300 mil saved and managed to turn in into 1bn by gambling until one goddamned dodgy tip on a basketball game and lost it all. (would have made it 2bn and been able to buy a pimped out PI)

Advice about the bookies, with smart betting and research it's easy to earn loads (only lost 2 bets in all that time) but don't ever listen to anyone else about a sport you don't know about.

So that's it, after almost a year playing I posted my account details in the forums and someone took the account and changed the password. Wouldn't really have been able to play much longer anyway, off on tour soon!

Haha, you mong. Top tip. Stocks aren't bought for value, or to sell on. They're bought for the benefit blocks.

I meant my 'stocks' in points. They were going for 50k for ages, safe way to keep my money from muggers and have it instantly accessible. Now, points are down god knows how much and the market is flush with people selling theirs. My several thousand points were worth shit loads less and that was a couple of weeks work down the drain in a instant.

Oh I see. Did you not have a faction that could look after them for you? Or the cash? People use the ARRSE faction like a bank for money and points. It's a bit of overhead for me, but no dramas

Right, with all the price drops (therefore gain drops) at the moment I have decided to go into stocks and shares - not done so before. I have bought the following so far:

$43 million worth of TC International School - apparently this gives me free education but not sure what exactly
$64 million of TCHS - apparently this gives me free meds weekly - 20 morphs or 50 SFAKs
$101 million TC Clothing - apparently this gives me weekly cash dividends

Anyone done stocks for a while and have a good idea what block to go for next or, if I buy subsequent blocks of stock I already have, do the payouts/benefits increase?

You education courses are all free. Which can save you alot in the long run. Some courses cost 1 million.

It's a monthly cash dividend I believe, not weekly.

You can also get FAKs with the TCHS ben block.

The benefits don't increase if you buy more. Buy just enough to get the benefits, and keep hold of them. I have lots of benefit blocks. The housing one means I get a free property each week. Some are pants, some are good. I just sell them anyhow. I also have the benefit block that gets me a drug pack each week, which contains either 10 xanax, or 10 vicodin.

Points are a fecking joke right now. Hovering around the $40k mark means waiting a lot longer to make me cash. Far more around than are getting used. I'll keep plugging away though.

I saw the one for the drug packs but it is quite expensive and would leave short so will have to wait a while. Will definitely get that and the housing one, no harm in getting free properties and drugs

I was tempted to buy them all and repost them in dribs and drabs at 50k. That's all that's needed.

Doesn't work. I did that with heather. It used to go for approx $44k and when I went to sell 1000 of them they were down as low as $29k. I bought over 7000 of them till I got back up to $44k. A minute later there were 100s back down to $30k or even lower. I lost a fair bit proving that theory doesn't work and they are down as low as $29k regularly now.
