In which case I won't say anything incriminating! The sad thing with VBS2 is that the ongoing support piece isn't remotely expensive - especially compared to basically every other simulation run across the MOD. Everyone sees it as being someone else's responsibility to sort it out, though, so nothing gets done.
Since my religious proclivities are fully extended by the worship of rugby, beer and gorgeous women, no offence taken. I'm just curious about the assumption that any deity must be fluffy. Give me some vindictive pagan Thunder God with a cute High Priestess and a couple of eager-to-please priestess friends; that's the way to fill a church.
I am talking about hours run this month and last month have been greater for Invertron than VBS 2
Thats because we all have at least 2 jobs to do and because the 20yr old egg and spoon is 20 years old more of the lads can run it unsupervised. (please dont give the keys out any more until the seagulls have cleaned up their rubbish mate)

Thats changing as we speak I've converted 2 to the dark side and the force is strong in the other 2..............

got to agree egg and spoon is a bit harsh..... mmmmmmmm, maybe you and Invermong are like the gay vicar bumder and VBS and I are like the modern manly film star with the women falling at our feet (ok so I got carried away a bit).
anyway STOP PRESS VBS2 is back in after 2 days off line, (please note that was 2 days of you and the other bumder taking the wee wee).......... let me think when was the last time either of the other systems were back on line within 2 weeks of a problem? And how much did it cost to fix I here you ask? nadda, nichts, null!!!!!!!!!!
not 10 grand for a new bulb or some fuse which looks as though it could have come from Stephensons rocket.....
ok Ive had enough of crossing swords with you Blowfish lets start on the Turret trainer crews........ I recon we could take them..

Agreed however the people who buy the hardware need to think a bit more........ decent PC's (overpriced in my mind) but with cheap graphics cards (in mine anyway) which wont be up to the job sooner rather than later.
Software wise, as you know, is free to an inquisitive mind and as long as the EULA is respected, totally legal.

again true however that gives the likes of me the ability to become quite good with the system simply because there is no-one there to say "stop your not supposed to do that".
DCCT is a prime example, I was not allowed to get in and do anything with the system until I had proven to someone that I could jump through hoops and then the same hoops burning (that only took about 4 years), I had no interest in the weapons systems (not a skilly) and only wanted to play with the CGI, but because of RULES I couldnt...... the point is had we had a bit more access to DCCT the transition to VBS2 would have been much smoother and easier.
As long as it keeps its present growth rate it will be fine.
what the hell am I doing....... Brunonomedals if you are who i think you are (going of the location) I am sure we have had a conversation relating to your post on another forum, I believe I was the frustrated one then......

That battle gets fought at the end of March, when VBS2 is stuck in front of COM(Land) by a Gunner. Either I'm about to get very busy, or made redundant.

I thought Invertron was great. If I ever needed to attack Plumpton Plain and Hickstead Racecourse, I thought that the army had prepared me admirably for it.
DCCT we are told can be used to do level 2 courses has this been tried by any unit I doubt it.
When the comms RA part 2 course was done in the Regt we used the DCCT for the Arty Target TO's and it did the job, however not being a gun bunny I have never used the invertron so can not compare what is better.
