Third google search mentioned that the latest firmware had this bug in it, suggested I drop back a few levels of firmware ....seems to have fixed it, might go and splash out on MW2 or BC2 this weekend.

I play this on the PS3. This p!sses on COD IMO. Online is great, but you have to stick with it untill you get decent weapons. I started off scoring <100 per game, now I can do anywhere between 3-6k per game.

Re: BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2
I got this for PC - its gash, can't connect to the servers, and it runs quite slow even on my monster gaming laptop (that runs MW2 very slickly).
In fact, both MW2 and BC2 have disappointed on PC... think i'm going to switch to be a console gamer. You can't polish a turd

Very diff. I like it, but online there is a lot to concentrate on..! And there are a lot of snipers who seem to have the ability to shoot you anywhere at any time!

Yeah, got alot to think about when your online. Seem that if your out in the open for even 1 second your getting shot at. Frustrating enough when it happens to you. But bloody fantastic when you get a head shot from the other side of the map on a moving target :D !

One way to solve that problem.

Re: BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2
Exactly what I did. Got sick of trying to keep up with tech to play the latest games on my PC. Went and got my Xbox and now never touch my PC. Should have done it ages ago.

Re: BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2
I paid just over four hundred for my PC from OverClockers. It's never had any problems running anything, and the outlay above the price of a console has probably been mitigated by the cheaper price of PC games compared to console games.

My mouse has developed lag when playing the game on Vista 64bit have down loaded latest drivers for the mouse Logitech G3 laser. Any tips on how to speed it up? Have tried the options in the game but still the lag occurs.

Re: BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2
I would have to agree. My PC, which is a self build but a good 3-4 years since I have done anything to it, will run BFBC2 with ease and any other game I want to play really.

The other major plus factor for a PC is that mouse+keyboard beats a console controller every time for FPS games.

Re: BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2
I normally play computer strategy games, Rome Total war etc, if i play at all, but my kids all play MW2, so i am quite into that, though only average, my eldest got 94 kills for 6 the other day!!!!! i am happy to break even.
However they have now got Bad Coy and they are telling me to play it instead as they reckon i am better suited to it as i play MW2 too tactically, as in i hide and hope no-one can find me, so i might give it ago whilst wife of is at work over leave.........................but hopefully weather will be nice and i'll be oot on the bike.
2 of my lads reckon BC2 is best, the other thinks MW2 is.

Re: BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2
It seems a lot more difficult than MW2 (PS3) , but I like being able to fanny around in boats/vehicles.
My kill/death ratio is lots, lots lower in BC2 than MW2
