Fallout 3 -- I bought it after reading reviews and thought it sounded a decent game, I personally couldn't get to grips with it and sold it.
.
When I 1st played it I was the same. I'd recommend giving it another go. I did the 1st few missions without using my Pip-boy as I'd rushed through the "tutorial" and found it all very strange. Once I'd got the hang of it it would waste hours of my life :D

Ive got Uncharted 2 still in the box unplayed. The gamestation man told me he GOYE has 4/5 updates that are sold on on the PS3 online store for 8 quid each. So good value.
Why do all RPG's have to be alien....sorry, mutant infested.

Broken Rword anyone?
In my defence I've had it since it came out. Fallout 3 and Football Manager both ruin my social life.
Right, I went out and bought the game on my lunch break at 1300. As there were no replies to this topic at the time (ya bastards ), I resorted to asking the spotty, 12yr old virgin working in Game what to buy. In my hand, I had Fallout 3 (GOTY) & Uncharted 2. He pointed me towards Uncharted 2 which I then bought (not that I'm easily led). I was already leaning towards that as I've heard Fallout 3 is really loooong. And I'm not a masive fan of RPG games, with lasers and stuff (looked like it lasers in it on the back cover). So I'll be giving Uncharted 2 a go tonight, even though it looked like it had platforming parts to it, but it also looks like you can use an SLR in it.
Stinkerson, what is your game tag on PS3 then? Did I play with you last night (ooh er, missus)?
And yes I was shite, but in my very limited defence, connectivity was crap, & I got fed up with the host quitting the game after 10seconds. Plus, Mrs.M was giving me the evils because she was missing some crap TV on Living, or whatever channel she was watching.
Fallout 3 is pretty damn good, especially for those of us with a post-apocalyptic/mad max fixation.
Fallout 3 GoTY edition comes with all the addons..Operation Anchorage..The Pitt..Point Lookout...Broken Steel and Mothership Zeta all for the price of what the original game got released at.
Now if you had a PC,you would be able to download the thousands of free addons made for the game...ranging from fully animated prostitution, new weapons and armours, rideable motorbikes and gunships.
Uncharted 2 is the only reason I'd buy a PS3. Reviews have been totally positive, with 9.5/10's floating around.
That's what I'd heard/read.
If I'd bought Fallout 3, I know I would get half way through it and end up abandoning it when Modern Warfare2 comes out. Hopefully I'll finish Uncharted 2 before then.
