Has anybody else noticed that everybody who is in favour of the PS3 seems very angry about Xbox whilst also displaying a tenuous grasp of the English language? Those in favour of the 360 seem to have a more considered view. No wonder PSN is populated by complete mongs rather than Xbox Live's semi-mongs.
I think we should re-name this thread "Xbox 360" for the more discerning, intelligent gentleman. Evidence here".
Oh dear, a bitter and twisted 360 Fanboy ..
I can spell and punctuate just fine. I use a PS3 and my neighbour has a 360, I have heard some right dribblers on both PSN and Xbox Live so your talking out of your lower colon there. The 360 is a good machine but it all comes down to what you want to use it for, want a Blu Ray player and a games machine ?? then go PS3. Want more games and a more reliable online gaming experience ?? go 360. One of the main reasons I got a PS3 Slim was free online gaming and as a back up Blu Ray player. In fact its just as good as the S-350 standalone Sony player I have on picture quality plus it bitstreams HD Audio.
Each machine has its plus and minus points. Its just down to personal preference isn't it ?
Correct, there are mongs all over both networks, I especially enjoy whining American 13 year olds who call me nigga and bitch and shout "ya heard" over nad over again. Or the mancunian children who offer to come round my house and stab me because I've slotted them.
Definately down to personal preference, like I said, I have both and my PS3 is gathering dust. My comment ref the dribbling posts v a more considered view were based on this thread. Scroll back and you'll see what I mean.
360 has an update this weekend containing:
Sky (free if you already have it, monthly cost and no need for satellite if you dont.), facebook, twitter, last.fm, zune video, halo waypoint and a few more upgrades to the LIVE service to make it quicker and easier to use.
The 360 was easy to use, integrates quite nicely with the home network, has loads of choice on the games front and the online environment is excellent. Most of his mates from school have it as well so it makes the choice even easier because Xbox Live allows you to get great value fro money from a £40 disc
my brother in law and his kids have a PS3 and whilst one might argue the graphics are a little better the online stuff is shite and there is nowhere near the choice of titles available
Just got an Xbox and have to say i am very impressed with it . Very easy to use , i managed to get movies streaming from the PC upstairs to the TV last night and i have been totally blown away by some of the games. In my opinion it makes my PS2 look like an old ZX Spectrum (Not saying there is anything wrong with that mind ).
Can play any game you throw at it (Crysis on max setting) but may struggle against games like grand theft auto which were made with triple core + in mind.
Oh and PS3 console is better than Xbox in my opinion, but the Xbox community does seem to be more active.
The only problem with overclockers is that their customer service stinks if anything goes wrong with the system or product afterwards.
I wished I'd seen the amount of complaints about them online before I'd ordered a system from them (which had a problem) and found out how bad their customer service really was - arrogant is probably the best way to describe it.
Granted the system is great value, but just wished they tried harder with their customer service after support.
A bit off topic but if you want to upgrade your HDD on the Xbox 360 do you just swap HDD's or do you have to do any computer wizzardry in setting the Xbox up again? I only ask as I am a complete biff in regards to computing!! Cheers in advance, DS.
