where you will find some feedback on the new panel of UK motor insurers we offer in BFG. Visit our branches and you can leave with your Certificate of Insurance and full Green card, without the need to fill in forms, knowing you are protected by FSA regulations.
In addition we have introduced overseas breakdown cover at under £1.72 a week. It’s very new so not available to buy on line with your policy yet. But ask for a call back when you go to Motor at www.forcesfinancial.com and our advisor will be able to give you the details.
By the way, if you want to contact our advisors on our freephone number 00800 11 22 33 01 (UK or Germany) their recorded call response times in January suggest you won’t have to wait longer than 11 seconds before you get an answer. Now there’s a challenge!

I went with AXA when I was in BFG. If you want my opinion, don't use them. When I returned to UK with my 3 yrs 'no claims' from AXA, they were not valid in the UK. Plus they are a complete rip-off if you are under 25. In hindsight, I should have gone with NAAFI.

I was with AXA while in BFG and my no claims were valid, all I needed was the letter from them stating how long I'd been with them and that I hadn't made any claims.
It sounds as though your current insurance provider was using an excuse to get more money from you. Or perhaps the person you dealt with was a spotty faced buffoon who was too scared to ask his superior's advice so just played it safe in his eyes. The way I see it - if you're insured and road legal and you don't claim - then how can it not count????
nips I'd chase it up again if I was you because like I said - my no claims with AXA were valid - no questions asked. You could get a bit of a refund???
As for your statement about rip-off - the same can be said for ALL recognised insurance providers to BFG. IMHO there's not enough of them to provide so much competition that the prices drop - but then I haven't done the maths on likely payouts etc in the case of liability, so I could just be spouting a load of arrse!!!
