Credit records are for people who need credit.
So, the OP. You are an ex-STAB, you are skint and you need £100k? Heh. I do like a challenge. But before I start to solve your problem, you need to chill the fuck out. Clear your diary and take five minutes with the Mother Maybelle and the Carter Sisters. I shall come back to you in five minutes with the solution. Meanwhile, enjoy...

Try new builds. Many builders have a variety of deals to assist people in buying their houses.

I've just googled '100 mortgage' and there appears to be some useful hits.

Good. I live to amuse people. I really fucking do.
Moving on. You need £100k for a house and you are skint? No way the sort of reptiles who prey upon home owners are going to give you anything, other than knee-capper finance. So fuck 'em.
What Jarrod said works. You want £25k for a house deposit you can fuck off. You want £25k for a car? That is doable. Once you have the cash (for a car, business plan, whatever) it is fucking cash and you can do what you want with it. The only thing the lender is concerned about is that you can make the payments.
There is way more money sloshing about in the 'buy a car' segment than in the 'buy a house when you are a skint ex-STAB' segment. So pick the low fruit. Go for the easy money.A million years on and still in trouble, put down your fists and hit it wiv a shovel.

Don't forget the 0% deals on credit cards for balance transfers, barclaycard have one at 22 months, natwest is I think 20 months. Money can move for free.

This is the second time you have offered sage advice in this thread. I am concerned. Tell me you do not plan to grow a stringy grey beard and start talking in a weird Chinese accent?
But yes, what me Mum says is true. Every time you switch your balance transfer they add loads of 'credit' to your account. Play the balance transfer game right and £25k shall be yours. Do not look at the ARP. You could get knocked over by a bus next week when all is said and done.A million years on and still in trouble, put down your fists and hit it wiv a shovel.
