As much as I despise"Ole Tone". What the feck do we need some fat cnut telling us what we all ready know.
Boy George started it.
Id like to see the fat cnut go to the middle east and make a documentary about why its so Fecked up down there. See how long he lives for!
Next time you are out on the road. Check out all the useless tw@ts who cant drive. Pound to a penny says the volvo driver in the middle lane has a Beard. or the dumb shoite whos just left it to the last minute to pull out has a beard.
Basically I dont trust any one with a beard.
My apoligise to any one on this site who has a beard or drives a volvo. This includes the women.

Liar Moore
Unfortunately Mr Moore is an accomplished and exposed liar who films in 'documentary fashion' to sway the less well informed.

Haven't seen Centigrade quite-warm yet, but given Bowling for Columbine, I shan't bother. Associating the name of the film with a REALLY scary book is a bad start - and given the first film, seeing more misleading poo from a lefty doesn't appeal anymore from the misleading poo from the right.

Movies
Yup SP, they'll all do for me. Shame Sellout Connery is in them though.
But also need Branagh's Henry V though. It's good to see the boss covered in shite like the tomsApparently some moderators take themselves very, very seriously, and cannot abide posts such as:

Events that would make a good British war film...
Having read many comments about how crap Yank war films are, I began to wonder why we Brits seem unable('Zulu' being an honourable exception)to make good war films.
Certainly, Yank films are full of bulldust and an amazing mixture of arrogance and ignorance but they seem proud of their military history - such as it is. We, however, seem embarrased by any victory and prefer 'heroic failures like 'A Bridge too Far' or 'Dunkirk' - you could never imagine the Yanks producing 'Kesserine' or their botched rescue of the hostages in Iran.
Our military history is full of great events like that portayed in 'Zulu', why not glory in it and make the public aware of them?
Any ideas for battles that would make a good film? Or are we just too self-effacing to be proud of our history..........

It just wouldn't be cricket old boy. If we did, I would suggest the battle of Kohima 1944.
Before you criticise someone, try walking a mile in their shoes... that way when you do criticise them, your a mile away and you've got their shoes.

Not entirely true: 'Blackhawk Down' springs to mind as a recent example.

Monte Cassino has it all: deception, religion, politics, hard-as-phuck Brit and Commonwealth forces 'avin it large with German paras.
I want a Monte Cassino movie. Or the Chindits, with a decent and balanced portrayal of tortured Warrior-Savant Orde Wingate.
Band of Brothers touched on it, but the final Allied push against the encircled German forces in The Kessel in 1944/ early 1945 would be interesting.
Lastly, I've seen lots of desert warfare movies, but a LRDG/ early SAS movie blowing up lots of Nazi airfields (etc) would be fun.
Problem is that all these projects require dosh. And the only people with the dosh to make movies are (1) the Spams who only want to make films about themselves and (2) the Lottery Commission who only let you make films full of gritty social realism about crack-whores on council estates.
So don't hold your breath.
V!
