If it is available, or on youtube, 'Big bad mouse' with Jimmy Edwards is worth a squint.

On a different thread I said he was funny because he was a funny man; put him, Dave Allen, Frankie Boyle, and Russell Brand, in an East end pub, not as a show but just chatting, who would get kicked in first?

    Clue, they're in reverse order.

A sad loss a very clever man who should have had more recognition of has talent as both an actor and writer of comedy. He was unfortunately over shadowed by his contempories the insanely brillant Spike Milligan and the charismatic Peter Sellers. There are few comedians of today who can compare to these greats, many so called comedians of today would not have made a living in what was in the 50s & 60s the Golden age of British comedy.

Just wondering how the health fanatics are going to explain how he smoked cigars and lived to the age he did (not an attempt to derail the thread but it was almost my first thought on reading this thread). Great man who overshadows the "comedians" of today. RIP.
Apologies if this has already been done, but this is a standard disclaimer for imbeciles who have nothing better to do than read threads all day long and point out when people repeat, misread or simply miss something that has already been mentioned (albeit briefly in text or via a link to an external site).

Graham Stark is still alive. I did a survey on his house a few years back. Unfortunately he's not in the best of health. His photo studio was a sight to behold though. Pics of him with everyone you can think of, from Sinatra to Ursulla Andress.

Strange as it may sound - Tom O'Connor - I was at a do and he was the after dinner comedian - the whole place was roaring with laughter - and he didn't swear once through his whole routine - the cnut

We're in greater danger today than we were the day after Dunkirk. Our military is absolutely incapable of defending this country. Thanks to Broon and Osborne .

The BBC done a bio of her (Hattie) life last year, it was very good, and she was a randy old cow, like all fatties apparently. !!!
