That piece of music...
Does anyone else have a piece of music that makes the hair on the nape of your neck stand up?
Weather it fills you with pride or joy etc... What is it?Insert Witty Comment

Samuel Barber's "Adagio" - whats yours?
Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, ( camel blue in one hand - need a new one here as I stopped smoking on 30th December...................), wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOW!!! WHAT A RIDE !!!!!!!!!!!

Last Of The Mohicans - theme full instrumental - YouTube
And there's a bit of music that's from Sunshine or 28 Days later that keeps popping up elsewhere that I can't find a link to at the moment.

"Sanctus Fortis" from Elgar's Dream of Gerontius
"Go Forth Upon Thy Journey, Christian Soul" and "Praise to the Holiest" from the same work.
In fact pretty much all of Gerontius gives me goosebumps.Last edited by lumpy2; 29-04-2012 at 20:03.
"A longer yellow streak than a herd of diuretic camels."
Forget the foreplay, let's have the fag now.

Highland Cathedral gets the hairs up, But I also get it from The Fray "How to save a life" first heard it on Scrubs, Cox (John C McGinley) is trying to save a patient and lashes out at the end.
Edit to Add,
Some music makes a film what it is, would Platoon be as iconic without the Adagio playing?Last edited by Jerrycan2793; 29-04-2012 at 20:11.

"Nimrod", played by a military (RAF) band.
"Orange Juice" from the film "Brassed Off"."You can tell a man that boozes by the company he chooses,"
Then the pig got up and slowly walked away.
