The Expendables
Sounds like it'll be quite a decent film and has a fair few A - Listers in the cast, including. After years of unspeakable corruption that concludes with tragedies such as murder of American hostages and betrayal of foreign policies, and finally recognizing a way out of this terrible mess, the U.S. along with other Nations, equally seeking the end of this catastrophe, secretly put together a squad of its highest trained military personnel to finally overthrow the dictator who has caused devastation in South America for over 20 years.

Re: The Expendables
Is Jason Statham as the only Brit I recognise there playing the baddie?
America you slllllllllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggggggggWe should remember the tremendous contribution of the Queen Mother to the war effort:
As the BBC pointed out, she 'bravely remained in London beside her husband' during the war.
This contrasts sharply with the actions of my grandfather who, on the declaration of war immediately left his wife and children and pissed off, first to France, then North Africa, Italy, France (again) and finally Germany.
The shame will always be with us.

Only actoe missing? Victor Meldrew. The cast have a slight smell of wee about them as thay are all duffers. Obviosly our Jason is pushing the wheelchairs

Re: The Expendables
No, apparently he's playing an ex-SAS (of course) guy who's an expert in CQB (of course again) and really handy with blades (of course yet again *sigh*)

Dear God-you can almost taste the heady mix of Newmarket Oil and Sanatogen.
The pen is mightier than the sword - until you meet someone who has knowledge of simple chemistry, metal forging and ballistics.
Be warned: I bear malice.
