Gordon Ramsay's F Word finalists programme
Anybody watching Gordon Ramsay's F Word tv programme? With the semi-finals over we have an interesting final tonight to watch.
The Pheasant, a British Pub/Restaurant from Keystone in Cambridgeshire that specialises in Game.
Lasan, a Indian Restaurant from Birmingham. I can't think of more diverse foods to judge.
Being a Game lover I'm both intrigued and desperate to try out the Pheasant. Lunch anyone?
Edit: Mods I've put this in here but if it's more suited to Cookery feel free to move. There is a God and he looked down on the Earth and said "Let there be Liberal Democrats in the Government" and it came to pass that the disciple Dave brought Nick back from the wilderness and there was much partying.

The Indian restaurant should stick a game menu on...
Partridge and quail - delicious in Indian cuisine
Venison curry - I know but trust me, it is delicious
Goose curry - awesome
Daddy-pig says "Snoort!"
They used to say if an infinite number of chimps typed we would get the works of Shakespeare, the internet has proved this is NOT the case...

You'll probably have to book now for next xmas.
El Gato Negro in Ripponden just over the hill from me is booked solid for months on the strength of winning the Spanish section of the F word.
It is rather good though.

Oh well Lasan won - a close call. I lost my bet. :(
Think the Pheasant's menu was a tad adventurous for the female food critics' palate. Bit disappointed with that. Lasan seem to play safe tonight and it paid off.
