    Just watching North West Frontier,,,,,not a bad film,,pity they don't make them like that anymore,,No spectacular explosions,,No CGI graphics,just a well filmed yarn but thought provoking at the same time....

    I enjoyed hearing the 'reposte' from Kenneth Moore in response to the accusation that British Colonials being responsible for the fighting between Muslim and Hindu,,,,'But you know very well Van Layden that Muslims were killing Hindus years before the British ever arrived in India',,and it's true....
    We're in greater danger today than we were the day after Dunkirk. Our military is absolutely incapable of defending this country.Thanks to Broon and Osborne .

    My Way (Mai Wei) a Korean film which is stunning. Watch the trailer;

    My Way - Official Trailer (1080p) - YouTube

    There was no expense spared on this film, an epic.

    My Way (2011) - IMDb

    Well, well worth watching.

Will admit I went into the cinema with the expectation that it was going to be a glitzy special effects fest with a collection of average performances from the cast and a shit story (basically trading on the label rather than the film). Was pleasantly suprised by the quality of the acting and the on-screen chemistry. The story is and will remain utter tonk, and Scarlett Johanssen and the bloke with the bow were both rather wooden but decorative (according to your tastes). But Tony Stark/Iron Man was once again amusing with his quips and at least partially earned arrogance, while Banner was good with his understated humility. But all in all it looked like Robert Downey Jnr had pretty much turned it into an amusing "Look at me" fest. At least until the hulk arrived for the final fight and stole the show. Hadn't got a clue about any of that after credits thing that Marvel are famed for other than a sequal is a shoe-in.

    Then again having seen the credits and seen that it was directed by Joss Whedon I shouldn't have been suprised by the quality. He's done much better on smaller budgets when he was using his own material but he remains a damn good director, writer and producer.

    However the REAL star for me was the extended Odeon only trailer for Prometheus. That looks like it will be the film event of the year for certain and possibly the film event of the decade. Don't think Ridley Scott has made a bad film (certainly not that I've seen).

    ^ All of that. Took a while to get going, but when it did...that was pretty fuckin awesome.

    Marvel films always have the extra bit after or during credits, which I waited for. Just found out there is a second extra bit right at the end of the credits which I missed.

    And that Prometheus trailer, have you seen the weird android trailer yet?

    Me too Is it a serious "Don't do it" or a "Sure, watch it and see what you think - each to their own"?
    Brothers in Arms, eh? Sacred bond, isn't it? killing other young men. One might even call it poetic. If poetry wasn't the last refuge of the bearded, cricket hating sodomite...

    'Coriolanus'.

    Coriolanus Trailer HD

    I loved it. As good as 'Titus' and easily one of the best Shakespeare adaptations I've ever seen.
