Just watching North West Frontier,,,,,not a bad film,,pity they don't make them like that anymore,,No spectacular explosions,,No CGI graphics,just a well filmed yarn but thought provoking at the same time....

I enjoyed hearing the 'reposte' from Kenneth Moore in response to the accusation that British Colonials being responsible for the fighting between Muslim and Hindu,,,,'But you know very well Van Layden that Muslims were killing Hindus years before the British ever arrived in India',,and it's true....

Will admit I went into the cinema with the expectation that it was going to be a glitzy special effects fest with a collection of average performances from the cast and a shit story (basically trading on the label rather than the film). Then again having seen the credits and seen that it was directed by Joss Whedon I shouldn't have been suprised by the quality. He's done much better on smaller budgets when he was using his own material but he remains a damn good director, writer and producer.

However the REAL star for me was the extended Odeon only trailer for Prometheus. That looks like it will be the film event of the year for certain and possibly the film event of the decade. Don't think Ridley Scott has made a bad film (certainly not that I've seen).

^ All of that. Took a while to get going, but when it did...that was pretty fuckin awesome.

Marvel films always have the extra bit after or during credits, which I waited for. Just found out there is a second extra bit right at the end of the credits which I missed.

And that Prometheus trailer, have you seen the weird android trailer yet?
