Stunning film, excerpts from which were abundantly featured in short U-Tube spin offs. The one featuring the Generals telling Hitler that he's due to fly Ryan Air to visit Rome for an important meeting with Il Duce is particularly good.

I watched this film and was nearly bored to death.

Average film but worth watching just for the last 8 minutes. 'The Rain Song' used & merged over the storyline. Also paid £200,000 for using it.
I was and am completely against the invasion of Iraq. I do not support invading any country that may or may not have WMD unless it is in the Middle East and starts with an I and ends with a Q

Burke & Hare. Enjoyable. A humourous take on the infamous grave diggers/murderers, with Simon Pegg & Andy Serkis as the titled characters.
Good to see some cameos from other famous British actors & comedians, e.g. Bill Bailey, Paul Whitehouse (The Fast Show) & Jenny Agutter in a "blink and you'll miss it" cameo.

    Not a bad little film.

Watched a few over the past week or so.

71 into the fire - Korean film based on the true story of 71 students that were told to hold a road for 2 hours during the Korean War. They ended up holding off the North Koreans for eleven hours before being relieved. The action scenes are well done if a little over the top. What starts off as Saving Private Ryan becomes The Magnificent Seventy one. Not bad.

The Objective - A USSF team is sent along with a CIA bloke to investigate radioactive readings found in Afghanistan in Nov '01. It all goes Pete Tong pretty quick. The acting is good and they clearly had SF advisors on set as the dialogue and weapon handling is tip top but it can't save what is basically Blair Witch with UFO's. Not much kop.

Let Me In - The American version of the Scandinavian vampire film. Basically a lonely boy befriends a young girl who has moved in next door little realising she's a vampire. Sounds pretty dull but actually a very good film. Highly Recommended.
