More twisty than a twisty thing if I recall.

Just watched Valkyrie. Apart from Cruise being too American, I thought it wasn't that bad apart from the story being sexed up a bit ... Cruise was rarely annoying as well.

Years ago it was suggested that an apple a day kept the doctor away. But since all the doctors are now Muslim, I've found that a bacon sandwich works best.
I hate all this terrorist business. I used to love the days when you could look at an unattended bag on a train or bus and think to yourself; I’m having that.

Go for Broke
Most of the squad served in Italy and France. They were known as the Purple Heart Btn due to receiving 9486 Purple Heart medals. Ther imitation of Texans is spot on :DWell, the prodigal brother. When did you get back? Ain't seen you since the surrender. Come to think of it, I didn't see you at the surrender.
I don't believe in surrenders. Nope, I've still got my saber, Reverend. Didn't beat it into no plowshare, neither

The Grifters, actually pretty good.
That's the most foul, cruel, and bad-tempered rodent you ever set eyes on!

Paschendaele - saw it advertised in Caneda earlier this year, and finally got a copy.
There aren't that many WW1 films out there, and this one actually shows a lot of the nastiness.
Love story woven in, but recommended for the action bits, and for showing an element of the war that you wouldn't normally come across, the empire troops.

Re: What film have you just watched?
Fiennes’ character was teutonic, an intellectual, if not a bit blank or self-indulgent; given that I wonder if he saw no real value in Hanna, or, could he afford any association with her camp record? But, he recorded for her furiously! What was his motivation for such commitment? Guilt? She certainly had no love for the 15 y-o Fiennes but the words she learnt coloured her in, so to speak. Fascinating.

Just watched the German film, Lola Rennt (Run Lola Run), with Franka Potenta (1st Bourne film). Seen it a few times before, but still enjoyable.
The harder the fighting and the longer the war, the more the infantry and in fact all the arms, lean on the Gunners - Field Marshal Montgomery.

Just finished watching The Rock with Nick Cage and Sean Connery in. Shameless Action Thriller. Seen it many times, but still enjoyable.
