It's an easy mistake to make unlike someone saying they've won the MC in the Falklands War when in fact they spent the Spring and Summer of 1982 working in civvy street[/quote]

Or being driven around in a Blue Bus
He does look retarded to me.

Wrong quote attrib VH. Anyway I need the Caffeine for when Whet/Ashie and co turn up and start on how wonderful their paymaster is at allowing people the right to wear what they want.

BTW I wish to aplologise to all Hull FC fans . I mistakenly said they were beaten by Spurs 9-1 yesterday earlier in this thread . The team was actually Wigan .

Why do you need to apologise to followers of one of Hull's two Superleague teams? Spurs play football not Rugby League!

I think you mean Hull City (or to give them their full title Hull City Nil ) who managed a creditable 3 all draw against the best team in the universe. :D

Surprised he didn't get arrested wearing so little.

MIT, remember Hull did have only 10 men after Parker done his dying swan act.
Really you should have come south through the Rotherhithe tunnel and come to watch a great club

Apparently, he was there, with 3 Para, when H Jones was shot in the back by an Argentinian sniper on Tumbledown. He also (along with his father before him) won the George Medal. He didn't wear his campaign medals or GM as he had "had enough of the way that the military treat our guys today"

Not bad for a 42 year old bloke (that's his age now by the way, not in 1982). I didn't even know where to start with the inaccuracies so I withdrew gracefully and told him I was "off to the bog" every time he came near.

Must admit, he did seem a bit of a (genuine) window licker so I just couldn't bring myself to rip into him.
I think you're turning into a poof you limp-wristed walt waltzer, you should have climbed on the bar and hurled yourself at the guy screaming Semper Paratus whilst humming Ride of the Valkyries (not an easy thing to do). As the girls from Omega said "A wimp and a blimp" now back to dressmaking and home economics with you.
