A bit more than a service pack, I think.

At least Microsoft are consistent with their business model i.e. every alternate Windows OS should be rubbish.

W95 - Poor
W98SE - OK
Millennium - Poor
XP - Good
Vista - Poor
W7 - OK
W8 - Poor

Perhaps they could break the mould if they did the unthinkable andstarted listening to their customers instead of foisting unwanted features and bloatware on them and abandoning the features that are popular.

So, whose going to E3 this year? I'll be there in a professional capacity as HMG in its infinite wisdom considers my attendance at the world's premier video gaming trade show to be conducive to good business. I'll try not to enjoy myself too much while I fulfil a dream I've had since the age of 12, as clearly I need to represent the calm and professional face of the MOD while surrounded by models trying to sell me PS4s.

What are you looking forward to seeing at this year's show? What should I be keeping an eye out for and reporting back to the ARRSE gaming collective?

And what funky gizzits do you want me to bring back? If I get anything decent I might run a few small Hols4Heroes auctions :)

I have had the Roma Surrectum II mod for about a year and never had any issues with it but over the last couple of days it has started crashing during battles. Occasionally it doesn't happen and plays like normal but during most battles at some point it will cut to a blank screen with a 'Rome Total has stopped working' window popping up.
Any idea of what could be wrong and how to fix it or is this a complete un-install/re-install job? The only other mod I have on it is the shield wall one.

It did make me wonder whether anyone could come up with a compelling reason to continue to use an email client?

Problem - I used the Windows briefcase to back up my documents from PC to external hard drive.

The hard drive has died, so I want to synch my PC briefcase with one on my laptop, but it keeps looking for the hard-drive, which obviously it can't 'see' bcaseu it ain't there.

Is there a way to re-target the briefcase so it syncs with the one on the laptop, or will I have to create new ones?
