Greetings from a 45 year Walther collector ( WWII vet ) in the USA. I recently located a black leather IWB holster marked for the Walther PP with the NATO part nr. 978-2247 dated 07/91. This holster is totally different from the brown leather one issued to the UDR to carry the cal.22 PP in the 60's. I have been told that this black holster was issued to low profile SAS personnel as an alternate to the BHP. I understand that the RAF issued Walther PP in cal 7.65mm, but these were not issued with holsters. The pistol designation was L47A1. Would this have been the same designator for the SAS issue? Any information about the RAF/SAS Walther PP and/or holster would be greatly appreciated.

As the title states I'm the owner of a German Shepherd puppy. I want to train him early as I possibly can and to do that I need a regimented guide to it.

The dog is going to be massive but for now it's a little nipper (see attatched picture). I am looking for tips that teach the most discipline a dog can learn. But I also want the dog to always feel loved and at home.

Thank you in advance for your time and please refer me to any books e or otherwise that i can read to gain the knowledge I'm looking for.

Hi, Spent some years in TA, in 2nd Batt. Highland Volunteers: Gordon Highlanders, 51st Highland Division. Had periods at home and in BAOR. Getting nostalgic in my old age, maybe, but interested in finding out about the life of any regulars who served in Ireland during the 1970's. Happy to receive emails of reminiscences, opinions etc. I had mates who served there but I never felt comfortable about asking them if they had a social life over there!

Hey all

So I'm a Newbie

From South Africa and ARRSE was recommended to me at the recruiting office to get general info and ins and outs of the army.

I have started my application (looking to join the Irish Regiment) and now just received a date for my "training day" which I am hoping the Sargent means fitness test and interview!?!?

So any advice for a freshy like me with regards to ARRSE and preperation for my icebreaker (general knowledge and history) and what other infantry unit I should put as my second job choice (I am putting the armored cor as my third job choice)

Regards
