    Change Management Survey

    Dear ARRSE Member,

I am a Senior Lecturer in the School of Technology at the University of Wolverhampton specialising in Programme and Project Management. As part of my continued professional development I am also researching Change Management as part of a MSc. in Strategic IT Management.

The paper title is: An Analysis of Change Management – A Project Management Function or Separate Discipline?

The academic question is: Is Change Management an “essential integrated element” of Project Management or a “bolt-on discipline” to be used on an ad hoc basis?

This academic question will answer whether companies are actively using CM as an integrated or separate discipline within the project management environment and is CM a Project Managers required skill or should this function be a separate job role.

The findings may indicate a necessity to have complementary skills and understanding of CM in project management training and provide secondary and empirical evidence to answer the academic question.

Please the following link to a questionnaire for publication to members. This has been through ethical approval. Survey

Any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Thanks for your time and effort.

You might also want to consider hyphenating 'bolt' and 'on'.

Needs to end with a question-mark.

Contact Tony Blair and George W Bush - they've done a bit of Regime Change Management.

Might be pertinent to your thesis...

And it's complementary, not complimentary. Unless of course you wish to make us all feel good about ourselves.
