Well, degrees in Fine Art are generally the preserve of those who don't have to worry about lifetime earnings. :D

I don't mind a non-bluffing degree. I might polish up my French using those tapes you listen to whilst asleep and subliminally educate myself - Voila!

I'm only doing it for the post nominals. I'm BAMBA at the moment; an MA would give me a whole range of options, MABAMBA, etc. I could become one of those Nigerians that emails you with the offer of millions...
If it's post-nom's you're after, then consider one of the certificate courses like DD100.

I think I got told I was able to use Cert Soc Sci or something similar when I passed my first OU module (which was also a certificate) - more than you get if you complete an BSc, MSc, and PhD!

I also remember the Chief Clerk kindly humouring me (after he checked with the top corridor in RHQ) when I asked how I could get them added on to the end of the my name on UNICOM (apparently the system didn't have the facility to do this for a Sapper as it was an officer thing - although he did pass on a few well done's). In hindsight, I'm surprised they didn't do it, but add something like Pedantic Nob instead

Actually, you're right. I think that following B713 I can use PG Cert Bus Admin, but hardly prosaic, is it?

I got my MSc certificate on Xmas eve. Now I have to find somwhere to supervise my research degree. My dissertation wasn't that well received, which can limit you for carrying on, but I'm hopefully chatting with a school that I might be able to convince this coming Feb.

Congrats to anyone else on their results.

Congratulations. Anyone completing any course with the OU is deserving of a medal in my opinion.

Not an NDM medal a proper one.

The OU gave me nothing by way of transfer.
Still waiting for my credit transfer ,I might consider just resitting the exams again and re doing the course work

They were f*ckers. I got the academic transcript and then it was, "How do we know this was at postgraduate level?", then it was "Too old anyway". IMHO, the management want to be seen as pro-credit transfer because it's "progressive", but they don't like the idea that they are giving away an opportunity to earn money.

Currently in the early stages of what will hopefully be an honours degree in history. Can't believe I didn't start this earlier. Anyway, is there any masters in history available?

You are Richie Valens and I claim my £5.

I finish B822 next month and B830 later this year then I'll be MBA BSc (Hons) MCGI MCS CITP MCMI CMgr and some other bo11ocks. Postie must think I'm a right nosher.

I used to work with a guy in York who would put BSC on his trg handouts with tiny writing below (Bronze Swimming Certificate). Same bloke who bought one of those "your lordship" things from Scotland so he could put it on his lesson materials for a laugh.
