They are not cheap for a reason could you picture slipping and summersalting in the bath with a fragile and breakable screen next to you?
Get some of them glass see through bricks build a wall half way along the bath from the bath to the ceiling very original.

Re: Bathroom Shower Glass
I used these: http://www.betascreens.com/
I have a wetroom with a full height (2m x 1.5m) glass partition seperating the shower from the rest of the room, building regs required (so the builder insisted) that the screen had to be minimum 8mm toughened safety glass, not cheap and it turned out that an off the shelf kit was better value than constructing my own and offering it to the builder for installation.

Get the wife to hold a bit of old tarp in front of you whilst you shower. Then tell her to shift her fat arrse when you have finished.
Spend the £150 on drugs and fighting ferrets. Sorted.A million years on and still in trouble, put down your fists and hit it wiv a shovel.

Re: Bathroom Shower Glass
I have designed and installed (well the 'chaps' do that bit), loads of commercial glazing for the MOD. They almost always specify high spec glass, even to non-protected buildings.

Back to the shower screen, being in the trade and with the inside contacts I have and favoured owed, I have a cheap perspex one from B&Q :D

Re: Bathroom Shower Glass
Sacked the shower glass idea... gonna go for a shower curtain... Its plaster board behind the tiles. Not comfortable on the plasterboard taking the weight of the glass.

Re: Bathroom Shower Glass
You don't fancy one of these with a fixed screen, then? The bath would take the weight of the glass, so your wall wouldn't have to.

So, a TA battalion or nine Regular Guards battalions? Not a difficult choice, then (especially as we don't have nine Regular Guards battalions).
