Is anyone on here clever enough to put this onto youtube? I have friends and family abroad who cannot get to watch it on the BBC i-player. I would really appreciate it. PM me if you want to. Thanks!

I've let them know that I appreciated it, and the only way that we'll get more stuff like this on the air is to let them know that people like what they're doing.
Thank you Countryman. I have left positive feedback and the suggestion that, if possible, the programme is shown to a wider audience.
    Done as well;

Dear Sir/Madame, As an Ex-Serviceman I would have been very interested in watching this programme however the you in your infinate wisdom deemed it suitable for airing on only two of the BBC1 network channels. If it was'nt for a member of a Army website posting to make us aware of the programme,I along with countless others would have missed it. As it was it was very good TV,far better than some of the dross, yes dross, that you,the BBC as well as other channels show. Please understand that the is a large serving & ex-serving viewing population out there who share my views. Please,in future, show programmes like this on mainstream tv channels, not just the regional ones.

Had the standard reply from the Beeb.

Thank you for your email to BBC Information.

We read all comments and appreciations in full and log them within one
working day. This log is then circulated daily to programme-makers,
commissioning editors and senior management in the BBC. Your feedback
is therefore extremely important as it helps shape decisions about
current and future programmes and editorial policy. Thank you for
taking the trouble to share your views with us.
It goes on further, but I shan't bore you with it all. Not sure if anything will happen, but at least I've tried.
Never regret anything that once made you smile.

Re: From Boys to Men - Heroes of Helmand

I successfully downloaded the programme onto my C drive using the BBC Iplayer download, but it's "coded" to prevent copying to DVD.

Apparently, you can apply for a license...

FluffyPurkiss, if you have any contacts with the film crew, you could always try them for some copies? My daughter took part in a Radio 3 broadcast a few years ago and the choir was able to get copies of the programme.

If you explain the situation, they may be able to help you.

First part.. Second part is also up. No doubt the third will be up soon.

The person that posted these vids is an absolute legend and takes the time and effort to chop up and post all the good military programs that are aired. So if you're reading this, THANK YOU! You're a star..
