Re: Abu Musabd al-Zarqawi may have been killed late Wednesda
Zarqawi only gained his notoriety cos the Yanks hyped him up so much when in fact he was a fat Walt who couldnt even fire a machine gun properly.
"Oh hes Al-Qaida in Iraq," "bin Laden's man in Iraq," "the leader of the insurgency," blablabla at least the Spams cant come out with that sort of propaganda now.
Let Bush w*nk off for a few days, the insurgency will continue as normal since the vast majority of insurgents are home-grown Iraqi nationalists.
I wonder how long it'll be before another evil Al-Qaida figure appears for the Americans to focus on?

Wonder if that statement will end up biting Bush in the arrse in the same way that he claimed that the capture of Saddam signalled the end of the resistance, that the resistance should 'Bring it on' and the pearler that the fall of Baghdad meant 'Mission Accomplished'.
Couldn't agree more. Surely the White House in all their wisdom would have the common sense to realise that another Al-Zarqawi will just emerge in his place. It's not like people wouldn't want his job.
Seriously I would appreciate it if Bush had a ounce of truth in him and stopped spouting that this was some kind of massive achievement when in fact all it will do is delay the insurgency for a matter of days.
Turning of the tide my arsse!

He's dead - so what? Have the Sunni insurgents released a statement announcing a surrender - 'No?'
Then I guess that just means one less terrorist to deal with!

How about mentioning the fcuking British casualties? Last time I looked the BBC was British, they're too busy pointint the finger at us for Iraqi civvie deaths.
Well said FNUSNU,
Just heard Bush's Statement and he only mentioned (paraphrased)
"This man is responsible for the death of many US soldiers and thousands of Iraqi's" WTF???
That'll be that good old "Special Relationship" again then!

I'm glad they've finally bagged that nasty piece of work. Mind you, there will be more of them.
Let's swing this around though. If our country was occupied by a huge army of muslims wouldn't you be a little aggrieved? Wouldn't you fight back with whatever tactics were effective? Or would you agree with the Iranian Govt (or whomever were running the show) that we had to elect a theocratic government that Iran found friendly to them? And that sectarian conflict over here (Anglicans versus Jehovah's Witnesses - LOL) was an internal matter and not their fault at all?
I'm not surprised that Iraqis are less-than-chuffed at their country being demolished, their army being disbanded, the infrastructure being knackered and generally losing their jobs/livelihoods. It's given all the foreign mercenaries like Zarqawi an excuse to come along with their religious zealotry and spark them all off.
I'm an Atheist, so there's no hell for him. Just death....a righteous one at that.
