Al-Amarah stops co-operation with British troops.
Just seen on BBC news - Al Amarah stops co-operating with British Troops. Looks like it is being inspired by Moqtada al Sadr.
It's kind of ironic, as I thought Al Amarah was never in the business of co-operating with anyone, Iraqi or otherwise....

The Iranians must be wanting another distraction now that the Danish cartoons affair is fizzling out....
Many of the new officials used to live in exile in Iran so they toe the Iranian line...wonder why the Beeb never seems to point this out?Là á Bhlà ir's math na Cà irdean

Just pull out the troops and let them do their own stuff. No matter what the Brits and Americans do for this backward nation they will never appreciate it anyway.
