Just think, instead of coming up with the fabulous idea of H4H and actually having the drive, enthusiasm and intellect to successfully implement and maintain it, the Parrys could have stayed at home in a darkened room and dripped ignorantly on the internet. They must be kicking themselves today.

As have many of us. The difference being is that prior to making a statement about H4H salaries I found out how they went about it.
I do appreciate though that your running your own charity so I shall duly doff my Cap to you Sir and offer you my thanks.
One last moan from me and I'll stand down. Trolling is becoming more and more prevalent on the net but more so on here yet I'm still truly gutted that so many "so called " ex squaddied would attempt to denigrate a valiant attempt to help out wounded and put it into the hands ofmthe media. Shame on you!!

I think some of you need an appreciation of costs when it comes to disability. It appears that companies capitalise on products they produce for the disabled and don't forget there's no VAT, but the prices don't appear VAT free.

Electric wheelchair - £5000 upwards.
Car adaptations for a triple amputee - £20,000

It's the same with NHS suppliers, they just seem to make up a price.

I agree Jarrod - my mate's been wheelchair bound for nearly ten years now and over the years he's needed wheels replaced....cost?? Four years ago the minimum quote was £35 for what is really a small pushchair wheel AND they charged him for an "expert" to fit it for him.

It's a scam and too many companies cash in on public money and charities money.

As I said iPad I did not do my homework on the salaries and merchandising which was used to fund the administration costs so my comment was wrong on that score.
I did apply to be involved with Support our Soldiers in 2007 but after a number of failed attempts to contact them by telephone and e-mail a few of us set up a scheme in Central Scotland helping local battalions, individuals and some of the wounded lads.
As I said our excess funds are divided out amongst other charities and to the welfare funds of the battalions we support.
