The real money spinner is to get yourself or your spawn, or all of you, classified as 'disabled' or 'speshul'. The amount of cash you can then bring in rockets exponentially.
'Disabled innit' and 'Speshulness' are particularly cruel afflictions, they overwhelming effect the non employed living in council houses - funny that.Warning, this post contains some flash photography.

Yup, they probably can afford that.
I was able to nod sagely when Dave made the comment about "more than three children" this week. That's the tipping point.
When I worked in the sector we had a little game we played with those who were being fed into New Deal (predecessor to Workscheme), we asked them what they would ideally like to spend on food, clothes, entertainment etc. in a month. Now, believe it or not, apart from the odd dickhead (see the course stereotype thread in "Best of..") who answered "as much as Alan Sugar does" for each category, the vast majority would come up with figures that were covered by a minimum wage job. We had a caveat with this, you didn't do it with single mums (childcare issues) and you didn't do it with anyone who had more than three children ('cos it doesn't work).HMS Queen Elizabeth. Is there any reason why the Government couldn't offer £1,000 to people who get themselves spayed? In the long run it would save the country an absolute fortune for very little outlay and the kind of people who really shouldn't be breeding would be fighting each other to get their wombs ripped out for that kind of cash.

National Benefit Fraud Hotline, 0800 854 440 – or 0800 678 3722 for Welsh speakers.
Use it, accept the outcome & pipe down. Alternatively never, ever vote Labour ever again as they brought this state of affairs to the level it is now.To eat well in England one must have breakfast three times a day

The real money spinner is to get each adult classed as being disabled & each adult also classed as the other's carer. That bit of the system needs urgent reform. The pittance paid out in JSA does not & as for other benefits they are available for working people on low incomes.

Carers Allowance is particularly sticky because, in regard of people who actually need it, it's almost unbelievably shit.
It possible (although admittedly rare these days) for someone in receipt of CA to be clearing less than someone who's signing on. The base rate is (I think) £58pw - It's less than JSA anyway.HMS Queen Elizabeth. Fitted for but not with airyplanes.

If the local freebi Metro is any guide then this is deeply popular with the average letter writer. By and large I get the feeling that the bulk of tax payers are no longer willing to support life style choice scroungers.
The only people who will seem to "care" are the leftie professional hand wringers who actually loathe and despise the very people they supposedly care about............

This is current affairs so how about a fact from today:
My boy needs a summer job before he starts university so I point him at the Job Centre website. Pop in the postcode and there you have 13 pages of jobs (20 jobs per page) within 5 miles of the house. Varying from two lecturing jobs at the local uni to no experience required bar staff, pay rates from minimum wage to £45K although mostly minimum wage.
The jobs would appear to be there...
