    "irony (usually uncountable; plural ironies)

A statement that, when taken in context, may actually mean something different from, or the opposite of what is written literally; the use of words expressing something other than their literal intention, notably as a form of humor."

The Met have now delivered a billet-doux (presumably concerning Sweden, though it doesn't specify):

BBC News - Julian Assange sent extradition notice by Met Police

Based on the articles I have read, a good move. I think this is a prerequisite for the forfeiture of the bail that has been posted and now Michael Moore, Ms Khan etc will lose their money. YAY!!

I understand each of them put up GBP20,000. (Sorry, cannot get computer to do Sterling symbol)

Neither will miss a meal due to the loss but it does amount to more than dinner and a decent bottle of wine.

The twat is refusing to come out of the embassy.

So, its OK for him to put other peoples lives at risk by publishing unredacted names on the internet, but its not OK for him to face the consequences of his actions.

What a slimy piece of work Assange is...

Moore is so full of shit. Preaching about socialism and equality whilst rolling in money.

OK lets cut to the chase, literally.... How is Assange going to get out of the Embassy? Is there any practical means of him getting out, and on to an aircraft out, apart from plod being asleep at the time?
First they came for the Communists but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists but I was not one of them, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews but I was not Jewish so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.
    Martin Niemoeller

I'm speaking out before they come for me.
