The ones community nurses used to have became uneconomic to have. It was cheaper to buy yourself and negotiate a discount.

Well, a good interview, natch.....but.... and this is rather, errr, delicate....you expect me to believe that you didn't have to shag the Network Director? Yeah, right.

Honestly, if you want to attract the best you need to offer this kind of package. Do keep up.
I appreciate the cynicism. I share it too. The CEO of the Mid Staffs Trust got the job of the CEO of Care Quality Commission. This is like giving Gary Glitter the post of Nursery manager. To us in the NHS it still seems incredible that such a mess as the Mid Staffs resulted in the CEO being promoted as the worst parts of the Mid Staffs Inquiry concerned leadership and director level management. It is of no surprise that the CQC are now fcuking up royally.
First they came for the Communists but I was not a Communist so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists but I was not one of them, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews but I was not Jewish so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.

I'm speaking out before they come for me.

Back in my grubby student days I worked in a hospital kitchen on weekends to earn my beer tokens, you wouldn't believe how much good food gets thrown away every day, we must have been tipping thousands of pounds worth of unwanted food down the disposal unit on every shift! But they had to make it in case the patients wanted it or the cafeteria got busy.

Look at the price of SCE school equipment.
They have come to light numerous times, yet remain.

Also ask REME about `local costing`

The Civil Service only accept `known traders.
This has gone on for some 20 years.
