Then they came for the Socialists and the Trade Unionists but I was not one of them, so I did not speak out. Then they came for the Jews but I was not Jewish so I did not speak out. And when they came for me, there was no one left to speak out for me.

I'm speaking out before they come for me.

I remember having to go to the top of Pen tower (386 ft IIRC) with some looney who base jumped off it! I suppose that the Knowledge will have to sort out their routes, as Pen tower used to be on it!

Thankfully I missed out on the practice of running to the top of Pen Tower in full state kit with a car clamp in each hand...

There's no accommodation for the gee gees at Wellington Barracks as far as I can see. Leave em alone. Royal mews is too small.

Not sure where the Cavalry is going to be moved to, perhaps to Hounslow Barracks which is curently being refurbished, Regents Park (Albany Street) Barracks or perhaps they will go to Woolwich Barracks along with the Royal Horse Artillery following the recent disposal of the St John Wood Cavalry Barracks. The again as one forumer already pointed out the MOD may stipulate that as part pof the deal any potential developer must to build a new cavalry barracks on nearby land on the edge of Hyde Park.
As for Northolt there continue to be rumours regarding it taking some of the strain from Heathrow, although not sure if this is a credible option, but then again is Boris Island a credible option - LOL.Last edited by Styron; 22-05-2012 at 11:46.

I was at the RHG/D dinner on Saturday. CO HCMR said it was all rumour.
Must be true then.
